Design
Instead of going for rounded edges that had been the face of the iPhone models before the launch of the iPhone 12 Series, Apple opted for a flat-sided design that sports squared-off edges.
The look, according to experts, is closely similar to the design of the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and iPad Pro. Notably, all four in the iPhone 13 series have flat-edged aesthetics that almost mirror the iPhone 12 models’ body design.
They sport an all-glass front, a lustrous all-glass back protected by an aluminum frame with matching color.
The iPhone13’s front display has a notch that houses the microphone, speaker, and the TrueDepth Camera. Notably, this notch is smaller than the iPhone 12; it effectively allows more display area.
On the sides and top of the model are antenna bands; on the right is the power button, while on the left is the silence/volume buttons. All of the four versions boast the OLED Super Retina XDR display. The brightness of the iPhone 13 versions can go as high as 800 nits, just 200 nits behind the iPhone Pro models.
The contrast ratio is set at 2,000,000:1, and when using the HDR feature, the brightness can max up to 1200 nits –perfect for shooting photos, watching tv shows and movies, and filming videos.
Furthermore, the True Tone feature easily matches the display’s white balance, enhancing the lighting and making it more eye-friendly.

Thanks to the A15 chip and bigger batteries, the iPhone 13 Series is confident that it’s built to last longer than the iPhone 12 lineup.
Notably, compared to the iPhone 12, the iPhone 13 can last 2.5 hours more, while the iPhone 13 mini can last 1.5 hours more than its counterpart from last year.
For instance, if you opt for the iPhone 13 Mini, you can stream for 13 hours non-stop and enjoy 17 hours and 55 hours of video and audio playback, respectively.
All the models also boast the fast charging feature and can be powered up to 50% in just half an hour. The products come with a USB C cable along with a 20W power adapter.
